47. Go to a soccer/football match

Okay, so I'm a little late on posting this one. Such is life. So, on the 8th of July, a contingency of us went to see an exhibition game played between the Seattle Sounders and Club America. Well, not so much a game as a brutal, savage beat-down.

To my reasonably untrained eye, it seemed like about the first 30 minutes or so represented a fairly solid matchup. The Sounders were moving the ball around a lot, spent a decent amount of time on the offensive. In retrospect, Club America may have just been toying with them, like a cat with a mouse. A sort of, "Oh isn't it cute, they think they can play this game" type thing. Final score was only 2-0, which I s'pose is somewhat respectable, but it really didn't feel like a close matchup.

Plus, with an attendance of 10,000 people, I'd guess about 85-90% of them were there supporting Club America. After all, what's not to like about a team that has "BIMBO" printed on the front of their jerseys?
