19. Buy an original piece of art

Waaaaaaay back in July, there was this fun little convention called the "San Diego Comic Con". While there, I wasn't really looking to spend a lot of money (failure!), and the only item I was really looking for was a cool piece of Green Lantern art. Maybe a high end sketch, or something along those lines. There was also a really nice Alex Ross print coming out soon, but as talented as he is, I don't really like my superheroes... well, not drawn.

Anyway, I found this cel as I was rooting around in one of the booths. They had to send it off to have a background added (it was just the foreground on the cel), have it matted and framed. All this was supposedly going to take about 3-4 weeks. Nearly three months later... Either way, it's here, it's up, and it's checked off. Huzzah!
